I had to wait 3 minutes at the drive through speaker before a cashier asked to take my order. I had to repeat my order three times because the cashier kept switching back to the other drive through speaker to assist other customers and could not remember my order. When I got to the window the cashier still had my order incorrect and very rudely said "Well what did you order then?!" Once I told her she slammed the window shut without any explanation. I had to wait almost ten minutes for my good to be brought out to my car and the associate that brought it out did not greet or say anything during the interaction. I am highly dissatisfied with the service I received today and if this is how the Popeyes employees are trained to behave than the likelihood of me returning or recommending your place of business to friends/ family is not very good.

So this place is currently middle-of-the-road... it has some good and bad going for it. The bad is that is still fairly popular as the only free-standing Popeyes in the Charlotte metro area, it pulls a lot of guests inside and the drive-thru; this causes issues as a result: 1) The store is a mess, with tables not wipped and the floor sticky at places. 2) The wait time is looooong; I ordered a simple combo meal and it took roughly 30 minutes before receiving my order, this was dine-in. 3) It's chaotic; people standing everywhere in front of the counter waiting for food, blocking others from ordering food and or to the drink machine. So here's the good part, the food was amazingly good. The fried chicken I ordered was cooked well through, yet still juicy and favorable. The side items (corn on the cob and mash potatoes) were tasty as well and needed little seasoning. The biscuit was cute, looking like a hockey puck, but was still very fresh and enjoyable. Overall, the food was very good and I can see why it was still getting a lot of traffic. At some point the traffic will slow down and maybe the staff will more time to clean house to maintain a sanitary environment so people can eat there and enjoy the cooking. But for now, it's just okay.

I love Popeyes but this location needs help. I've been to this Popeyes a handful of times and gotten good service twice. But the other visits were terrible. I've gotten cold food after waiting for long periods of time. I once was pulled up for 26 minutes while I waited on my meal. Ordered a half gallon of tea and the lid was not secured properly and leaked out all in my truck. Like others have mentioned before I Ordered my daughter mild chicken and it was clearly spicy. The employees who work here clearly do not care about customer service. I hope the owners of this franchise can get this place turned around bc I love Popeyes when they're at their best. Maybe this review will bring forth some change.

I love popeyes. although I think the meal that comes with the tea is a bit over priced. BUt you get a whole gallon of tea rather than the 1/2 gal you would get at bojangles. You have to ASK for Cajun sparkle seasoning --- for those who don't know its like Cajun CRACK! lol its really good on everything! this location has the dumbest drive thru/entrances ive ever seen. but the lady was super nice who took our order!

Customer service is awful, just canceled our order and left after the manager was asked to give us a second so we could figure out what we wanted, and she kept asking if we were ready yet, it was @ 11, you don't close until 12, and only one other car in the opposite lane, what's the big rush? We wasn't even finished with our order, and she was telling us which window to pull up to..... You would think that the manager would lead by a better example, bad customer service starts at the top. Been noticed that this place has a lot of attitude, and not too big on customer service standards. No more of my hard earned cash...

Um... no! Far too many employees standing around, sitting in the dining area, walking in & out to visit friends in parked vehicles... all while customers stand and wait to be served or wait for their food. And wait they will... a very long time. We ordered two combos and it took 17 minutes! The moving digital menus are terrible and the employees don't know what they even offer so asking them for help is a total waste of effort. The dining room was crusty, the tables could've all used a good wiping and the trash cans were full, but none of that even slowed down the VERY LOUD laughing and conversations being had by the employees. The food was actually fresh and passable once we got it, but we absolutely won't be back based 100% on the wildlife experience we encountered.

Every time I visit, they never fail to be out of something. I went today and they were out of bbq sauce. The last time I visited, I ate in the dining room. It was a mess. Couldn't find any lids for my drink. The napkin dispenser was out. The majority of the flavors in the freestyle machine were out. Oh, and they didn't have any ketchup for my fries. The bathroom looked like a tornado just went through it. The sanitation score was a B and based upon how the bathroom and seating area looked, I'd sure hate to see the kitchen.

Just got here. Not Impressed. Dining room dirty. Totally disorganized after being opened for weeks. Floor dirty. Tables dirty. Figured they had been so busy, didn't have time to clean but slid across greasy floors. Not good. Out of unsweetened tea. They seemed to find some somewhere. We came here because we didn't want to spend a lot of time out. Drive through was wrapped around the building but empty seats inside. Took a long rime to get food. Just about slid down with the greasy floor when we left. Chicken spices good but it was so greasy. Biscuits good but again greasy. Not sure what I expected but just too greasy for me. Didn't like slaw. Potatoes OK. I guess I need to stay true to who I am and stay away from fried food.

WOW. This is the slowest place. Pulled up to the drive thru with 3 cars in front of me. 12mins later, I pulled up to order food, waited there another 6 mins, and tried to place my order to the hard of hearing lady, so I was yelling at the speaker box. Finally drive up to pay and had to wait another 8 mins to pay, and was asked to pull forward because the chicken tender were still cooking. Waited there another 10 mins and when food finally came, she forgot my drink. Said she would be right back. After 3-4 mins I parked my car and walked inside to get my drink. Finally drive off and realized they forgot my mustard, but it wasn't worth my time to head back. Stay away from this place.

I figured I would let a week past before trying and I guess I was not the only one with this agenda. The line was literally down the street and around the building, but I was craving some spicy chicken. :P. Opted for the drive-thru and waited for an embarrassing amount of time. I did appreciate the employees helping with the traffic flow and they have double stalls like some of the McDs and Cook Outs. They also have a Coke Freestyle machine which is a 1st for my Popeye's experiences. I got halfway home and realized they did not include my extra biscuit. Was not driving bk for a $0.59 biscuit although I wanted that biscuit. LOL. The chicken was ok, but was lacking the normal level of seasoning. Oh well, will go back when the fever dies down...if it ever will??? :)

This is a brand new location on cherry road in Rock Hill, S.C. In the same spot where Firebonz used to be. They tore down Firebonz to build this new Popeye's restaurant. Just for your info, this location just open on Monday and you will have quite a wait as it has been PACKED and wrapped around the building with cars and employees outside assisting in car flow. Yesterday I waited about an hour in line to place my order. I will have to say that yes it was worth the wait! The chicken and popcorn shrimp is absolutely delicious. And the mashed potatoes and gravy puts Churches, KFC, and Bojangle's to complete shame. Also kudos to the manager they selected to run this new location. I had plenty of time to observe him working in such high demand. He's a very detail oriented, thoughtful, respectful manager. Yet thorough and on top of everything! VERY CUSTOMER FRIENDLY. I'm sure after a while the restaurant will settle down somewhat. But if you want to give this new Popeye's a try, prepare to wait patiently. It WILL be worth the wait! LOL
